Procedure:
1. | Wash the daikon and cut it into small chunks. Rinse the Brussels sprouts and take off the tip of their stems. Remove couple outer leaves of each Brussels sprout. Peel the shallot and cut it into thin slices. |
2. | Boil half pot of water. Add the daikon chunks, cover and cook in medium heat for 10 minutes. |
3. | Heat 1 tbs. of oil in a heated wok. Add the shallot and sauté until aromatic. Mix in the Brussels sprouts. |
4. | Transfer the daikon (without water) to the wok. Add the salt and stock, cover and cook in medium heat for 5 minutes, or until the daikon reach the desired tenderness. |
