Mizu Yokan (Adzuki Bean Jelly)

Ingredients
Kanten (agar agar) powder 4 gram
Water1-1/2 cup
Filtered adzuki bean paste1 lb (450g)
Brown sugar as desired
6"/15cm square container1 each

Instructions
1.Place kanten powder and 1-1/2 cups of water in a saucepan; bring the mixture to a boil then simmer for 2 minutes - stir consistently. With the heat on, add adzuki bean paste and mix well. Taste and add brown sugar as desired.
2.Pour the kanten mixture through a mesh strainer into the square container. Use a toothpick to break any bubbles left on the surface.
3.Cover and store the container in a fridge for at least 1 hour. Run a small knife around the sides of a mold and invert the yokan onto a chopping board. Cut the yokan into small pieces to serve.

紅豆沙1 磅 (450克)
紅糖 隨意

做法
1.將寒天粉和1-1/2杯水放進小鍋裡煮滾後用小火煮2分鐘,要不斷攪動。不要熄火再加入紅豆沙攪拌均勻,請在此時根據你喜好的甜度加入紅糖。
2.煮完後透過濾網倒入方盒裡,若是表面還是有泡泡就用牙籤戳破。
4.做好的羊羹加蓋進冰箱冷藏至少1個小時。食用時用小刀沿著模具邊劃一圈,再將羊羹倒扣出來。切成小塊裝盤。
